    Great Resource
I have just started reading the book and love it. A lot of useful info and delightful stories. I cannot wait to put all this good Information to use and feel much more comfortable about renting a jeep for the week(I have always been driven around, now I will drive).

  2. Jason C.

    An authentic resource book!
Pam has taken great pains to assist users to get the most out of their explorations around the “wild”side of St. John. She spent many hours creating the descriptions of the trails! You will really being able to find your way to the trailhead and back. There are funny antidotes and factual details of features along the way. Its a good size to carry along while you explore then you will want to keep it handy for a reference book once you return home and start showing off vacation pics to your friends.

  3. Melissia

The definitive guide to the natural St. John
Pam Gaffin has covered what the other guide books don’t! (Which is much more useful)No mention of restaurants, barely mentions hotels, but completely covers the “island” part of the island. All the beaches, trails, even an odometer led guide to all the roads and the wonders that are on them. Where else will you learn about where the reverse osmosis discharge tube for Caneel Bay is and why it attracts various sea “critters”. A snorkel instructor, she even covers what and where to see what’s under the water. This is a must have for the St. John visitor!
